Join us at Weir River Farm for the Sensory-Friendly Fall Festival Hour!
This event offers a dedicated hour with a reduced number of guests and a quieter sensory-sensitive environment. Anyone that would benefit from a limited capacity visit is welcome.
Grab your friends and family and join us at Weir River Farm for our Fall Festival! Visit with our farm animals, climb aboard a tractor, and make a fall craft! Don’t forget to play some fun festival games, get a farm tattoo, and enjoy live music by Peter Mundt at a low volume!
Be sure to grab food from Mom on the Go Food Truck and Ribpublic BBQ, enjoy ice cream from Hornstra Farms, and sip local beer from Stellwagen Beer Company, Vitamin Sea Brewing, and Zelus.
While you’re here, be sure to stop by the Weir River Farm Store to purchase Trustees Grown meat, delicious local cheeses, jams, baked goods, ice cream, and produce, as well as fun locally-sourced gift items.
During the Sensory-Friendly Fall Festival Hour, the festival is closed to anyone who hasn’t registered for the Sensory-Friendly hour and headcount is limited. Pre-registration is required for this event. Children 2 and under are free.
Resources available to prepare for your visit include Story Guide available online. A special sensory kit is available at admissions. You may borrow noise-reducing headphones and sensory items (while supplies last) from the staff at admissions for easier access during your visit. Please note that we have a limited number of sensory kits and headphones available and strongly encourage participants to bring anything they expect to need.
Admission includes everything except food and beverages. This event runs rain or shine. Admission fee is per person. Tickets available online or at the door. We encourage visitors to bring reusable items that they might need throughout the day such as a refillable water bottle.
See you at the farm!
This program is rain or shine! In the event of cancellation, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
We love our furry friends, however, as this is a working farm with animals, dogs are not permitted on the property.

Please Note: With the confirmation of the presence of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) in Massachusetts, we are taking necessary precautions to protect visitors and our flocks. Although risk of transmission to humans is low, out of an abundance of caution, we are asking that staff only enter our poultry spaces. Thank you for understanding.Register
