Story and Craft in the Garden

Teddy Bear Picnic

About Story and Craft in the Garden

Cuddle up for a story in the garden, and enjoy a follow-up craft activity at Armstrong-Kelley Park. Recommended for youngsters ages 3-5, however, all are welcome.

Caregivers and infants in carriers are free. Advance tickets required so we can prepare craft materials

Bring a blanket or chair to sit on during the story. Limited parking is available on-site. Please consider carpooling with friends!

The central green is a flat, grassy lawn, accessible for most strollers and wheelchairs. After your program, explore seven trails through the woodland, spot more than two dozen rare species of trees and hundreds of rhododendron and azalea plants, and enjoy the John Folk Water Garden and its resident Koi fish. Portable toilets are available.

In the event of cancellation due to rain, you will be notified via the email address you used to register and refunded in full within 14 business days. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
