About Kids in the Garden: Sensory Garden Exploration

Did you know that there are flowers you can eat? Come explore the tastes, smells and textures of various herbs and edible flowers! We’ll also use mindfulness to uncover the secret sights and sounds of the garden. Then, create your own custom tea bag with the herbs you find and enjoy them at home!

Nightingale Community Garden is located at 512 Park Street in Dorchester. The garden and this program are wheelchair accessible and the garden is close to Washington Street buses. Some free parking is available on the street or in the back of the CVS parking lot across the street.
