About Changing Colors Tree ID Walk and Workshop

As temperatures drop, trees lose their green in favor of more striking hues, one last show before they bare their unleafed silhouettes to the winter wind. Each tree’s Autumn display is unique, and with some practice you can pinpoint a maple, an ash, or an oak from miles away, just from a pop of color on the hillside. Join local Arborist and Herbalist Alex Klein (alexkleinherbalist.com) at the Bradley Estate, for a walk through the woods, where we will get to know how each tree likes to dress up for Fall. We’ll discuss the ecology and natural history of New England and how it came to have the best leaf peeping in the world
