Back by popular demand: the Boston All-Stars Blues Band returns to the Red Barn at Weir River Farm Saturday, October 8th!
Kick back and enjoy 2021 Blues Music Award winning pianist Anthony Geraci and his Boston All-Stars Blues Band. Bring a picnic or enjoy a snack from the Cruisin’ Cabby Shack food truck. Barrel House Z will be on hand to help you wash away your cares.
The Boston All-Stars features Anthony Geraci, who has played behind some of the most influential blues musicians of the 20th century. He is an original member of both Sugar Ray & the Bluetones and Ronnie Earl & the Broadcasters, and has been recognized for his contributions on numerous albums by nominations from both the Blues Foundation’s Blues Music Awards and the Grammys.
Geraci is joined by Monster Mike Welch – guitar, Paul Loranger – bass, John Vanderpool – saxophone, and Kurt Kalker – drums, all seasoned veterans of the international Blues scene.
Opening again this year is the Erin Harpe Country Blues Duo, featuring award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist Erin Harpe and her husband and longtime musical partner, Jim Countryman. Living Blues has crowned Erin “one of the finest fingerpicking acoustic blues singers in the land.”
This concert is outdoors, in the lower lawn next to the Red Barn, from 3-5:30PM. A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, October 9.
Audience members are encouraged to pack picnic blankets and folding chairs and leave an extra 10-15 minutes to enjoy the walk down to the barn from the parking field at 140 Turkey Hill Lane. Anyone needing accessible parking is encouraged to reserve a spot in the lower lot by emailing Anne at email@example.com.
Children under 2 years old are free.
We love dogs, but because this is a working farm, dogs are not allowed. We look forward to seeing your furry friends at one of our other Trustees properties this fall.
