About Winter Trails Day Wildlife Tracking and Tree Identification: Snowshoe/Hike

Join us on our Winter Trails Day for a Winter Wildlife Tracking and Tree Identification trek through the spruce-fir forest at the Notchview Reservation. This round trip, 2-mile trek on the Hume Brook Trail will be led by Naturalist and Tamarack Hollow Nature & Cultural Center Director Aimee Gelinas M.Ed. Learn how to identify wildlife tracks, signs of wildlife, spruce-fir forest ecology and tree ID along the way. This program will be a snowshoe or hike depending on weather and terrain – Snowshoes are included.

Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time to receive snowshoes and visit for information on facilities and what to wear.

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Notchview 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. There are no refunds for missed programs. The Trustees reserves the right to change program locations, schedules, or instructors when necessary.
