On Saturday, December 4th from 1-4pm, join artist Barry Van Dusen in the Wayside Gallery for “Meet the Artist.” His current display, presented through the Museum Shop in the Wayside Gallery, “Natural Remedies” features over forty original watercolors. One group of paintings – “Lockdown Suite” – features subjects observed within five miles of my studio in Princeton, Massachusetts. Other pictures in the show were painted during a statewide residency project with Mass Audubon, and are featured in Van Dusen’s book Finding Sanctuary. These pictures celebrate the healing power of nature in uncertain and stressful times. Wherever you live, nature can provide inspiration and comfort.
Artisan Market access is included in your Museum admission. Special for the occasion, we are including Gallery admission in our Grounds-only pricing. Admission is Free for Members, $10 per Car for Non-Members, and includes access to the Market, Grounds, Trails, Art Gallery, Native American Gallery, and Wayside Gallery. This is also the final weekend for the “Echoes in Time: New Interpretations of the Fruitlands Collection” on view in the Native American Gallery.
