Join us for our annual winter solstice celebration!
Adults and children are invited to bring upcycled tin cans and join us for a lantern craft starting at 3pm (we’ll provide instruction and the additional lantern-making materials). At dusk we’ll light the lanterns and embark on a guided walk along the trails that will include presented passages from the story, “The Shortest Day,” by Wendy Pfeffer. After our hike, we’ll gather back in the orchard to warm up by a campfire and enjoy hot drinks, cookies, and s’mores as we welcome the new season under the stars.
Space is limited for this event and pre-registration is required.
Guests will be asked to follow Covid-19 guidelines
Please note that while we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
For the most up-to-date information or weather cancellations for this and other programs, follow Chestnut Hill Farm’s Facebook page.
