Spring is in the air! Get outside and join Head Ranger, Cheryl Alexander Bierwirth, for an adventurous family hike on the lesser-travelled trails of World’s End Reservation. Perhaps you’ve walked the beautifully landscaped carriage paths or explored the Hingham Harbor shoreline, but have yet to explore the wooded trails beyond. Beyond the tree line is where deer, fox, coyote, and other wildlife seek protection from predators and harsh weather conditions. Cheryl will guide hikers on these seldom travelled woodland paths and discuss how to identify animal tracks, shelter for animals, and forest ecology.
Be sure to dress for the weather and off trail exploration. Wear boots or shoes that are appropriate for hiking in potentially muddy spots.
Participants are required to adhere to COVID-19 guidelines, including the wearing of masks.
Registration for this program includes parking at World’s End. In the event this program is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be notified by the email you provide when registering. Notice will also be posted on World’s End social media.Register
