Want to learn how to best utilize local, seasonal produce in your home cooking? Join us for this monthly series on cooking seasonal produce with flexible, approachable recipes.
Join us for a hands-on cooking class and learn to make Dolma. Dolma is the Turkish word which means “to fill”. It is a common dish across Southwest and Central Asia. Spiced rice with tomato and herbs is wrapped with grape leaves, or stuffed into an assortment of vegetables like peppers, squash, and tomatoes. It’s an engaging process and great way to use all of the seasonal mid summer produce!
We’ll provide a bundle of fresh seasonal ingredients for (2+ servings), available for pickup from one of three locations (JP, Quincy or Medford) on the day of the class. That night, you’ll return home for a Zoom cooking class where we prepare the dish together.
All proceeds support our network of 56 Boston Community Gardens. Members get a 20% discount.
Register to receive the Zoom link and shopping list. Registration closes at midnight the night before the event.
