Take an evening walk under a moonlit sky at World’s End this spring. We would like to invite you to join us for this unique outdoor experience. We will open our gate after hours to welcome you and your family and friends to accompany a World’s End guide for a hike on our century-old cart paths. By the light of the setting sun and rising moon, we will share in informal discussion about the traditional significance of each month’s moon as well as history about World’s End.
If you listen and look carefully, you may spot nocturnal wildlife becoming more active at dusk. White tailed deer, red fox, raccoons, barred owls and other woodland animals make their way out into the open fields of Worlds End. This is a great opportunity to bond, to get your kids outside under the stars, and share the joys of nature at night with your family.
Pre-registration online is required and space is limited. Masks are required for those ages 3 and up. Registration includes parking in the lot. Parking for World’s End is located at the end of Martins Lane, past the check-in gate. Please arrive on time as the gate will be closed after check-in. Parking outside the lot is expressly prohibited and could result in your car being ticketed or towed at the owner’s expense. This event is held after typical reservation hours. Please be respectful of rangers and neighbors and leave the hike promptly and quietly.
In the event of inclement weather, updates and cancellations will be posted on Worlds End social media pages.
