This event has sold out.Take in the view and enjoy a day of painting with pastels outdoors on the grounds at Fruitlands Museum with Joelle Feldman.
Recognized and award-winning artist, Joelle Feldman, teaches students fundamental skills and introduces multiple approaches to painting with pastels. This one-day outdoor workshop will focus on composition, texture, color, drawing and outline, applying an under-painting and gradually building pastel layers until the painting is completed. The class starts with an introduction of materials, including exploration and experimentation with a variety of pastel painting surfaces using different grades and brands of pastel sticks. Instruction and pace may vary based on the class dynamics and participants’ needs. Open to all levels of experience.

This one-day workshop will be offered on Saturday, May 22nd (SOLD OUT) and Saturday, June 12th. Register for one session or both!
Safety for all Participants: We will be observing all social distancing regulations and managing group size for the safety of all our guests attending this program. All students will be required to wear a mask at all times while on site at Fruitlands and the group will set up spread out outdoors, a minimum of 6 feet from other students.
