We are taking to the trails of Fruitlands Museum to see who-who-who might be out and about in the dark night woods. Join local naturalist and educator, Laurie Nehring, on this guided Owl Prowl. We will begin at sunset with a short outdoor socially-distant presentation, learning about nocturnal animals and how to call in the owls. Then we will venture out to see if we can call any owls to us.
This year, keeping our guests and staff safe and adhering to state regulations, groups will be only a quarter of the size of our groups for Owl Prowls in past years, capped at just 10 participants. Book early and take advantage of this unique opportunity to seek Owls in the nighttime winter woods.
All guests will be required to wear masks while on site at Fruitlands Museum and follow all social distancing protocols.
This program involves winter night-time hiking on a ¾ mile long moderate hiking trail with some uneven terrain and uphill climbs.
Please note that space is limited and this program is likely to sell out very quickly.
Pre-registration is required. Recommended for ages 7 and up.
Member $15. Nonmember $25.
