4 Wednesdays, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/10, 3:00 – 4:30 pm
Picture yourself as an animal or a tree, or even a space travelling alien. How do you look when you are happy, excited, sad or content? Would it look different in a photo, collage or a sculpture?. In this creative workshop, we’ll look at all kinds of self-portraits by contemporary artists, like Rona Pondick’s Otter and Reflection II by Antony Gormley. Then, you will draw, paint, build, collage and sculpt unique artworks that represent your unique self.
This fun and positive class values individuality and exploration. Join us to create and discover!
This interactive class is capped at 12 students.
The link to the zoom meeting will be sent to registered participants at least one day prior to the class.
We know it’s a difficult time to source new art materials, so if you don’t have something, we’ll discuss creative substitutions.
