About Boston Lyric Opera at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum

Join us for a lively, outdoor opera performance with Boston Lyric Opera on Saturday, December 5th!

Presented by Boston Lyric Opera in partnership with deCordova Sculpture Park and Musuem, BLO brings its Street Stage to deCordova on Saturday, December 5 at 12:30 AM and 1:30 PM for two, free outdoor live performances.

With a custom exterior designed and painted by teen artists employed at Artists For Humanity, and mentored by co-founders Jason Talbot and Rob “ProBlak” Gibbs, BLO Street Stage has mobilized to bring live, in-person opera performances – safely – across eastern Massachusetts. Each performance will feature one BLO singer and one BLO pianist presenting a variety of beautiful opera music in one of Massachusetts’ most beautiful outdoor cultural spaces. For more information about BLO Street Stage, visit

Each performance will last approximately 20 minutes. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the performance to allow time to check in. All attendees will be asked to fill out an Individual Health Self-Assessment Form prior to entrance. Masks required for all attendees over the age of two (2).

Tickets include entrance to the BLO performance as well as admission to deCordova Sculpture Park and first come-first served entry to the Museum.

Please note that space in the performance area is limited. Please bring a folding chair if needed.

Reservations to a specific BLO Street Stage performance strongly recommended, and likely to sell out in advance.
