Join us for our annual winter solstice celebration! To keep everyone safe in these Covid times, this year you’ll make your upcycled tin can lanterns at home with instructions we send to you, then bring them to the farm as we light up the night with a family-friendly solstice stroll.
When you arrive, you’ll start welcoming winter by making a lovely holiday craft using our farm’s winter greens. At dusk we’ll embark upon a guided candlelit walk along the trails that will include presented passages from the story, “The Shortest Day,” by Wendy Pfeffer. After our hike, we’ll gather back in the orchard to warm up by a campfire and enjoy hot drinks, cookies, and s’mores as we welcome the new season under the stars.
Space is limited for this event and pre-registration is required. This event sells out every year!
Please note that while we love dogs, they are not permitted at Chestnut Hill Farm.
