Appleton Afternoon Adventures – Series II
Let’s get outside and learn! “Appleton Farms After School Adventures” offers a chance for kids to explore, learn, and play in the fields, garden, barnyard, and forest.
This series offers elementary-aged students the opportunity to participate in environmentally focused, farm-based activities led by our experienced education staff. Through educator-guided, experiential learning, students explore sustainability, agroecology, life cycles, soil science, history, and more – making important connections to their ongoing STEAM learning. Activities include plenty of time gardening, hiking, exploring and learning through doing.
This is an educational afternoon drop-off program for children ages 5-11 offered either 1 or 2 days a week for 5 weeks. To keep groups and staff and safe as possible, families must register for a full series of programming. Groups will include up to 9 students with 1 educator. Groups will include the same students for the entire series.
This program is offered in 3 different options to help accommodate different school schedules.
