About Stevens-Coolidge Book Club (Online)

Things have changed a lot in the last 100 years, or have they? Stevens-Coolidge Place staff invites readers to explore current social issues and how they are reflected in the history of the property through our quarterly book club. Through the collections of our historic house, and a combination of provided historical context and a diversity of contemporary perspectives we hope to facilitate a space for meaningful conversation in a mutually respectful space.

We will we using Zoom for this online program.

May 20 – “Such a Fun Age” by Kiley Reid

August 12 – “Behold the Dreamers” by Imbolo Mbue

October 13 – “Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants” by Robin Wall Kimmerer

February 24 – “As Always Julia” edited by Joan Reardon
