Celebrate Halloween at deCordova with your little one! Spend a crisp fall morning with your family in the Sculpture Park and complete gently-ghoulish activities designed for preschoolers and toddlers. Enjoy festive storytelling by children’s librarians from Lincoln Public Library and create a giant spider web with fun art materials.
Work with educators to explore spiders through a collaborative rope web installation and sculptures inspired by the 8-legged arachnids. Drop-in storybook reading will take place at 10am, 10:30am, and 11am.
Costumes encouraged and all ages welcome!
We’ll hold the program in the Park (light drizzle or shine). In the event of a cancellation, those registered will receive an email.
Pre-ticketing is required in order to anticipate capacity. Your ticket includes admission to deCordova’s campus, so please feel free to explore the grounds before or after the program. You’re welcome to picnic in the Park. Bring your own picnic or pick up a bite to eat at the Twisted Tree Café, and stop by The Store for a gift or souvenir.
