About Coastal Lecture: The Great Marsh through the Lenses of History, Science, and Art

The beauty of nature inspires in many ways from sparking our curosity and creativity, to allowing us develop a deeper relationship with ourselves. Join us for a lecture with local artist and writer Patricia Hanlon who has lived near the Great Marsh since 1977. She will discuss how swimming the marsh creeks and channels, researching its history and ecology, and painting its tides and seasons led to an enduring love for this beautiful estuarine ecosystem, and a growing desire to contribute to its long-term health and sustainability.

Program Refunds/Cancellations: In the event that a program is cancelled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact the Trustees property 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund or to be rebooked into a future available event. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program for any reason. There are no refunds for missed events or late arrivals. The Trustees reserves the right to change program locations, schedules, or instructors when necessary. Note: Summer Camps and our inns and campgrounds each have separate cancellation policies.
