About Fiddleheads: Preschool Drop-Off Series at Appleton Farms – WINTER SESSION
Its wintertime on the farm! Winter is an excellent time for animal tracking, maple syrup, and lots of winter barn chores. Join us on Wednesday mornings from 9:30AM to 12:30PM for a preschool drop-off series on farm animals, life cycles, plant parts, and farm fun!
After an opening circle, song, and morning observations, we’ll learn about the plants and animals that call the farm home and participate in daily barn and garden chores. We will also explore the woods and learn how to treat nature kindly. We pause for lunch at 11:30 before finishing our day with farm crafts, games, songs, and stories — and say goodbye until next week!
12-week session: members $720, nonmembers $900 Your registration fee covers registration for all session dates.
This preschool Drop-Off Series is for children ages 2.9 to 5 who can easily separate from their caregivers. Class will take place in any weather and we will spend as much time outdoors as possible.
