About Make, Mingle, and Munch: Create Your Own Yule Log

Enjoy a relaxing Friday night with friends in Fruitlands’ cozy Tea Room. Take a break from the holiday rush and learn a new craft, enjoy a light buffet supper, and a festive cocktail or mocktail – all included in your reservation!

You will learn the legend of the Yule Log and how to construct your own with natural bits and pieces, waiting to be adorned with your artistry. At the end of the evening, the Yule Log that you designed will be ready to grace your table as a candle-lit centerpiece and eventually to warm your spirit in a fireplace or firepit.

Materials supplied for you:

1 – Birch or oak log with drilled holes for candles

3 – Candles (Your choice of white, red or green)

Natural materials: holly, pine boughs, pinecones, berries

Natural twine and/or raffia

Bright holiday ribbons: plaid, gold, silver or white

Aromatic cinnamon sticks, star anise, assorted herbs

Glue

Scissors

You may want to bring: A small sentimental item that could be added and then detatched before burning the Yule Log.

Pre-registration required. Adults 21+. Make, Mingle and Munch will be offered on 12/8, 12/15 and 12/22 with a different craft each evening.
