About Creepy Crawlers & Critters: Frogs and Logs

Explore the trails and find small critters with us at Rocky Woods!

In this nature playgroup style program, we will turn over rocks and logs to observe what animals inhabit wetland and forest ecosystems. Children and their parents are invited to join us for this 1-hour program as we walk the trails and identify native and invasive amphibians, insects, crustaceans, mollusks and more! This program will review basic animal anatomy, animal adaptations, food webs, and nutrient cycles.

This program is best suited for children age 3-8 and parents should plan to stay for the duration.

Cancellation Policy: In the event that a program is canceled due to severe weather, low enrollment, or other circumstances, we will notify you as soon as possible by email and issue you a full refund or transfer into another program within 14 days of the cancellation. If you cannot attend a program as planned, contact Rocky Woods 7 days prior to the start of the program to receive a full refund. Refunds will not be granted for registration cancellations placed fewer than 7 days before the start of the program. We offer transfers to other classes or events with 48 hours cancellation of the class.
