About The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show 2023

The Incredible Naumkeag Pumpkin Show is BACK! This year with more pumpkins, more fun, and an expanded schedule! Explore our famous gardens as we transform Naumkeag into a celebration of autumn with over 1,500 jack-o-lanterns, hundreds of mums, pumpkins and countless gourds – most of which were grown right here at Naumkeag! Hot cider and fall treats will be available for sale on-site.

Due to the age of the site and its steep and uneven terrain, Naumkeag is not ADA compliant and is not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible and may be difficult to access for guests with limited mobility. Please reach out to tickets@thetrustees.org with any questions about accessibility.

Advanced purchase of timed tickets is required (one ticket per person). Tickets will not be sold on site. Ticket time represents your arrival window.

*PLEASE NOTE: There will be no parking on site with this general admission ticket. Please read through the FAQ’s before you purchase your tickets*

The property closes at 8:30pm with the last ticket sale at 7:30pm. There will be no entry to the property after 8pm.

Friday, October 6 is reserved for Trustees Members only. Advanced tickets are required. To register for a Trustees Membership, please visit thetrustees.org/membership.

  • Can I change my date or time? At this time, we are unable to accommodate date or time changes. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable across dates.
  • I purchased tickets but didn’t receive (or lost) my confirmation email! Guests who purchased tickets may look up their order & re-send their tickets by visiting tickets.thetrustees.org/orders.
  • What happens if I show up early or late for my entry time? To ensure a positive experience for guests, we ask that you arrive to the assigned parking area during your designated time slot. Amenities & Accessibility

  • How long does it take to walk through? On average, expect to spend about an hour walking through the property.
  • Are dogs allowed at The Pumpkin Show? No, in order to protect our gardens, dogs are not allowed on the property.
  • Is the interior of the property open to the public during the show? The first floor of Naumkeag will be open for visitors.
  • Will food & drink be available for purchase? Yes, concessions (snacks, hot drinks) will be sold on-site.
  • Will restrooms be available? Yes, restrooms will be available for guests.
  • What should I wear? The event will take place outdoors. Please be prepared to walk through unpaved pathways on uneven terrain through the woods and gardens. Trails may be muddy or icy at times, sturdy boots are recommended. Dress appropriately for the weather that day.
  • Are all of the pumpkins real? While not all of our pumpkins are real, each one is hand carved by our staff or volunteers. Real pumpkins when carved only last about a week depending on the weather, so in order to make them last throughout the entirety of the Pumpkin Show we have a dedicated day each week to carve and replace our real pumpkins (featured on our Linden walk) and the rest are a reusable foam “funkin”.
