About Halloween Full Moon Wonder: Hunter's Moon

It’s no trick – we want to treat you to a Halloween full moon hike and bonfire at Long Point Wildlife Refuge! Experience the sunset and full moon rise as we hike around sandplain grasslands, pitch pine forest, and barrier beach. After hiking, enjoy a fire on the beach with s’mores and popcorn roasting under the moonlight. Costumes are encouraged and spooky stories will be shared around the fire!

Hike is approximately 1 mile over soft sand and packed dirt. Tour suitable for ages 6+. Water, headlamp, and bug spray recommended. Meet at the gatehouse at the Long Point Wildlife Refuge Winter Entrance.
