About Wild Medicinals Foraging Workshop

Join us for an evening wild medicinal foraging experience! Learn to appreciate the medicinal and edible uses of plants, both those grown intentionally and those sprouting up in the wild of their own accord.

In this leisurely walk at Chestnut Hill Farm, medicinal herbalist Alex Klein will share how to fucus on identifying wild food and medicine in the garden and in surrounding woodlands, as well as teach proper harvesting techniques. Special attention will be given to safe and ethical foraging practices, and the relevant ecological roles played by some of our local species.
